Zion Lutheran Women

We have 6 meeting a year – January, April, June, September, October, & November.

In May we do a Mother’s Day Tea

In December we host the Annual Sankta Lucia Festival (the first Sunday in Advent).

We have 5 circles, four of which are active in church activities, the 5th circle is our older women who enjoy fellowship but find it hard to help with assignments.

A group of women make up the Altar Guild.  We also work on the layettes and prayer shawl ministry, as well as helping raise donations for local charities.

There are many tasks that need to be done at the church, and to ensure that no one person is asked to do everything, every January, assignments are made for theyear.  These are not cast in stone and there are times when people sub for one another, and everyone pitches in.

We always welcome new members, so please join us.
