Pastor David M. Hueter has
served Zion Lutheran (Manistique) and Bethany Lutheran (Isabella)
since September of 1996. Ordained in September of 1988, he is
a graduate of Capital University in Columbus, OH (B.A., 1984),
and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus (M. Div., 1988). Prior
to coming to serving Zion and Bethany Lutheran, Pastor Dave
served at Trinity Lutheran in Stonington, Michigan.
During
his ministry, Pastor Dave has served in a number of community
and synod positions. He currently serves on several community
boards: Habitat for Humanity, Schoolcraft Community Foundation,
Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital Ethics Committee and Hospice Chaplain.
With the synod, he currently is a member of the Synod Council
and Synod Executive Committee.
Pastor
Dave was born in Papua New Guinea where his parents served as
missionaries for 19 years. He attended schools in P.N.G. as
well as attending a boarding school in Australia for most of
his High School years. Returning to the U.S. in the late 70’s,
he graduated from Engadine H.S. in the Upper Penninsula. He
and his wife Sandy were married in 1990 and have two children,
Holly and Michael.
Pastor
Dave grew up in the church, and continues to enjoy the daily
life of service and ministry to all God’s people. Please

Beth Malloch, Church Secretary
Beth retired from teaching in 2007 and took the position of secretary in August the same year. She is also a member at Zion.

Cyndee Miske, Financial Secretary
Cyndee has been a member at Zion for 16 years. Beside her job as financial secretary she also works full time at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital as a Ward Clerk.
Marie Bellville, Treasurer
Marie is a lifelong member at Zion. She also works for Dr. Michael Wilson as an optometric assistant/office manager.
Linda
Levin was born in Ansonia,
CT. She grew up in Manistique and is a
graduate of Manistique High School. She graduated from Carthage
College in
1980 with a degree in special education and elementary education.
She
earned her Master in the Art of Teaching degree from Marygrove
College in
2002.
Linda teaches special education at Fairview Elementary School
in Manistique
and serves as Lead Teacher. She is active in Girl Scouts, Habitat
for
Humanity and the Community Concert Committee. She has been
the organist at Zion Lutheran Church in Manistique for five years, and she
has served as
organist at Bethany Lutheran Church in Isabella for 34 years.
